Adapting to a New Retail Landscape

Landmark needed to make a shift from offline to online while maintaining the essence of its beloved department store. Landmark sought a partner who could:

  • Integrate offline retail with online marketplaces
  • Optimize its inventory and warehouse operations
  • Build a robust infrastructure to manage e-commerce operations seamlessly

The goal was to create an experience that would feel just as familiar and satisfying to customers online as it did in-store. That’s where Etaily’s expertise came into play.

Building an Online Presence

We created and launched Landmark’s online storefronts on Lazada, Shopee, and a standalone web store that ensured a seamless transition to digital marketplaces while mimicking the in-store experience. The web store was designed to encourage customers to browse the catalog, with strategically created categories such as “New Arrivals” and “50% Off” that mirrored the layout of their department stores, making it easier for customers to discover products and find what they were looking for.

To enhance the online shopping experience, we prioritized high-quality content that made products engaging and informative. Detailed descriptions, multiple images, and varied angles provided customers with a comprehensive view of each item, replicating the in-store experience and empowering them to make confident purchase decisions.

Streamlining Operations

Etaily managed Landmark’s online stores, handling product updates, inventory monitoring, and executing promotions for major sales events. We ensured seamless operations, keeping the digital storefronts fresh, up-to-date, and fully stocked to provide an optimal shopping experience.

Campaign and Performance Marketing

Launching online stores was just the beginning. To drive sales, we implemented a robust performance marketing strategy that included targeted campaigns on Facebook and Google.

We also enhanced Landmark’s marketing strategies by running social media campaigns, special promotions, and collaborating with online marketplaces to maximize sales during key events like Shopee’s 5.5 Brands Festival.

Efficient Inventory Management

With Landmark’s transition from offline to online, Etaily redefined how inventory was tracked and managed. We developed a new SKU naming convention to better organize products across multiple channels. This allowed Landmark to streamline inventory management, ensuring that online product listings always reflected current stock levels and reducing potential stockouts.

Customer Service and Fulfillment

We ensured that Landmark’s customers received the same high level of service online as they would in-store. Etaily handled all customer inquiries and issues through social media channels like Facebook Messenger, ensuring fast responses to any product questions or concerns. On the fulfillment side, Etaily took charge of warehousing, packaging, and shipping, using our network of distribution partners to ensure quick and reliable delivery of products.

Landmark’s E-Commerce Success

The results speak for themselves. Since partnering with Etaily, Landmark has achieved significant milestones in its digital transformation:

  • Top 8 Brand in the Kitchen & Dining Category on Lazada (May 2021)
  • PHP 1 million GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) in April 2020
  • Gained over 24,000 followers on Instagram and 120,000 followers on Facebook
