The rise of social commerce urged Samsung to amplify its TikTok impact by partnering with Etaily to enhance its visibility and drive growth on the platform. With the launch of TikTok Shop in the Philippines in September 2023, the brand needed a shift towards transforming a Marketing TikTok account into a sales powerhouse. With Etaily’s expertise in TikTok Shop Management, strategic planning, and producing livestream and short-form video content, Samsung tapped Etaily to establish credibility and experience steady growth in both viewership and GMV (Gross Merchandise Value).

Optimizing TikTok Shop Platform Management

Etaily enhanced Samsung's TikTok Shop platform management by implementing a comprehensive strategy to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. This included curating a Merchandise Assortment tailored to TikTok Shop’s audience, emphasizing value-for-money options. By aligning with platform shopping behaviors, Etaily ensured maximum engagement and optimized sales performance. Etaily managed Daily Operations to ensure a seamless user experience, and leveraged its Proprietary OMS Solution to manage inventory with real-time syncing and buffer processes to avoid stock-outs and overselling. Fulfillment Operations were streamlined to guarantee efficient delivery. At the same time, Promotional Campaigns such as BAU campaigns, Payday Sales, Mega Campaigns, and exclusive Flagship Launches, were regularly executed to boost visibility and sales. To further align with Samsung’s goals, Etaily developed Creative Campaign concepts that featured innovative tools like TikTok’s yellow basket functionality, driving engagement and strengthening brand presence.

Strategic Partnerships with Content Creators

Samsung and Etaily established strategic partnerships with influential content creators in the electronics category like James Afante (@jmsfnt), Aeriel Tolentino (@aerieljeantolention), and Unbox Diaries (@unboxdiaries) to promote Samsung's products effectively. By leveraging these creators' unique custom frames in optimized listings, the collaboration successfully boosted engagement and drove higher conversions, ensuring a stronger presence on TikTok.

Producing  High-Impact Livestreams and Video Content


Etaily produced 12-hour daily livestreams (12 PM - 12 AM) to capitalize on peak shopping hours and optimize exposure through TikTok Shop’s algorithm and promotions. Detailed livestream analyses provided actionable recommendations to enhance performance, with key metrics like viewer count, enter room rate, click-through rate, click-to-order rate, and likes and shares closely monitored and optimized. Etaily leveraged TikTok's latest features and real-time data to create engaging, high-conversion content, while platform-hosted livestreams boosted visibility and solidified Samsung's TikTok Shop presence.

Optimized video content strategies such as unboxing videos to build excitement and product-centric videos to highlight key features and benefits, drove more engagement, boosted product visibility, and enhanced sales performance.

Amplifying Reach with TikTok Ads

Videos, livestreams, and products were given increased exposure through targeted advertising, while A/B testing was conducted to optimize ad performance and scale results effectively. Budgets were strategically planned to meet monthly targets while ensuring high returns on investment. Post-performance analyses were carried out to identify areas for further optimization, ensuring continuous improvement and maximum impact of TikTok campaigns.

Affiliate Marketing


Specifically designed to support livestreams and special promotions by collaborating with TikTok Creators, activating affiliate marketing programs increased visibility and sales across the platform.

The Result

Samsung achieved remarkable growth in 2024, delivering a 415% GMV uplift,  142% traffic uplift, and a 305% increase in livestream viewership compared with 2023. Livestream boosting also saw significant improvements, driving a 10.48x higher ROAS, 12.07x higher conversion rate, and 2.18x greater contribution to overall livestream sales versus the previous year.

Video boosting also proved to be a powerful driver, generating 9.24x ROAS uplift, 4.40x conversion rate uplift, and a 3.59x increase in ads contribution to total store sales in 2024. Additionally, Affiliate Marketing contributed 22%  to the total store GMV, reinforcing its role in driving sustained sales.

Etaily’s full-funnel approach combined key strategies in maximizing TikTok Ad solutions, and Affiliate Program. This comprehensive solution proved essential in accelerating growth, engaging audiences, and maximizing conversions.
