Goodest, Century Pacific’s debut in pet food, set out to become the top choice for Filipino pet owners. Despite the untapped local pet food market and the challenges of launching during a global pandemic, Goodest partnered with Etaily to establish and expand its online presence, reaching pet owners through major platforms like Lazada and Shopee.

Building an Online-First Strategy

Goodest’s strategy was clear: become an online-first brand. As pet ownership surged in the Philippines and more consumers turned to online shopping, Goodest needed to establish a strong e-commerce presence. Their priorities were clear:

Channel Creation and Inventory Management

In September 2021, we launched Goodest’s storefronts on Shopee and Lazada. Using Etaily’s tech-enabled platform, Clarity, Goodest synchronized inventory across channels, ensuring real-time stock updates. This streamlined fulfillment, allowing seamless order processing even when items sold out on one platform, with stock replenished from the other, keeping products available and customers satisfied.

Content Creation and Management

Collaborating with Goodest’s digital agency, Etaily managed content creation and campaigns across digital channels. From product photography to SEO-driven descriptions, every detail was crafted to boost sales and enhance the customer experience, ensuring clear, engaging, and consistent messaging that established a strong brand presence from day one.

Customer Service and Review Management

In the pet care industry, customers often have questions about the products they buy for their pets. Etaily’s customer service team promptly addressed inquiries, from helping with product transitions to explaining nutritional benefits. We managed private messages, public reviews, and post-purchase concerns, building trust and loyalty with Goodest’s growing customer base.

Fulfillment and Logistics

Etaily managed the fulfillment process from our warehouse to ensure timely delivery. Once orders were confirmed, we efficiently packed and shipped them, meeting marketplace service-level agreements and ensuring a positive customer experience. Our synchronized inventory system kept operations smooth, even during peak shopping events like 11.11 and 12.12.

Influencer Marketing for Brand Awareness

To increase visibility and generate excitement, Etaily Society, our in-house influencer marketing platform, connected Goodest with key pet care influencers. These KOLs helped build awareness and trust for Goodest by sharing their personal experiences and engaging with their audiences. Etaily tracked and reported on campaign performance, delivering measurable results that directly contributed to Goodest’s sales growth.

A Remarkable Launch

Just two months after launch, Goodest secured a spot among the Top 10 Brands in the pet care category across both Lazada and Shopee. The brand delivered remarkable results during major sales events:

  • First place in Cat Veterinary Diet during Lazada’s 11.11 Sale
  • Fourth in Pet Care Orders on Shopee in November
  • Fourth in Best-Selling Pet Care Brands during Shopee’s 12.12 Mega Campaign
